Founded in Faugères in 1999, Binet-Jacquet produced their ﬁrst commercial vintage in 2005. They make wonderful wines from low-yielding bush vines planted in the rocky slate soils that are typical of the region. Viticulture here is certiﬁed biodynamic and yields are around 30 hectolitres even at the entry point of the range. Vines are trained to a free standing ‘gobelet’, no sulphites are used and the wines show remarkable freshness and purity of fruit alongside a long mineral ﬁnish. Incredible, juicy and vibrant natural wines.
